Nag ask yourself this what makes these people so truthful and honest and CREDIBLE that they wouldnt lie hmmmmmmmm???? nothing thats your answer!!!!
Brenda, I never claimed to be "so open and enlightened," and I never said I wouldn't watch the video. I simply asked Tara and now I'm asking you who made the video and what you understand their agenda to be. I also asked you some other questions that you might care to answer such as what is your scientific background such that you can absolutely, positively say that the planes didn't cause all the 9/11 damage in NYC. For instance, you said that the jet fuel couldn't burn hot enough to collapse the buildings and that if it had done so the way the Popular Mechanics article suggested, the collapse would have been different than it was with different leftover effects. And I asked you how you KNOW this and whether any experts in the field disagreed with this assessment. Do you have answers to these very reasonable questions, Brenda? Or do you just want to call me a narrow-minded "hypocrite" for asking them?
nag
"I simply asked Tara and now I'm asking you who made the video and what you understand their agenda to be"
How should I know what the film makers agenda is and does it really matter.
Opinions are based on facts and information from ALL available sources and from both sides of any issue.
"For someone (nag) who has repeahinktedly told us all to THINK, suddenly we aren't allowed to anymore. As you say, hypocritical in the extreme."
Tara, my dear, I don't understand your comment at all. When have I "not allowed" you to think? It's precisely the opposite. I'm asking you to demonstrate that you've thought enough about these videos and other sources of "information" you've turned to about these alleged nefarious conspiracies that you can verify their objectivity and accuracy rather than your having reflexively takeng them at face value because they support your preconceptions.
I'm also encouraging us all to think about the thorny epistemological issue of how we evaluate the truth of claims such as 9/11 conspiracy claims, especially when some of these claims involve subject matter, like structural engineering and physics, that we're not qualified to assess.
"ive told you over and over again why you are figure it out!"
Told me WHAT, my dear?
nag
"I'm asking you to demonstrate that you've thought enough about these videos and other sources of "information" you've turned to about these alleged nefarious conspiracies that you can verify their objectivity and accuracy rather than your having reflexively takeng them at face value because they support your preconceptions."
I can see you are back again to questioning my intelligence and ability to form balanced opinions.
"How should I know what the film makers agenda is and does it really matter?"
Of course it matters, Tara. If the film is biased, its selection and interpretation of so-called "facts" will also liekly be biased and potentially very misleading to someone unaware or unconcerned about the producer's agenda.
"I can see you are back again to questioning my intelligence and ability to form balanced opinions."
Where am I questioning your "intelligence," Tara. You falsely accused me of that before, and I explained that you were mistaken. You are again now. As for questioning your "ability to form balanced opinions," I don't think I'm questioning your "ability" to do this as much as I'm questioning how strongly you're currently exercising that ability when it comes to some of these conspiracy theories.
Nag,
like I told you if you want a history lesson from me any further then start to pay me... your fully capable of researching this stuff on your own i gave you like what 5 links earlier of scientist and architects that feel the explanation needs to be questioned and not to mention tons and tons of previous comments and other information.. You are going over the same thing we went over earlier.. EDUCATE YOURSELF!!! you just keep coming up with more excuses and reasons to disbelieve and frankly call me full of shit and a whack job basically...
My whole view of you has completely changed.. completely.
Brenda, do your links answer the questions I put to you about how YOU know that what they say is true about such vital matters as whether the planes could have caused all the damage themselves? Do they say whether any credible experts disagree with them? Do they address the nature and extent of your engineering and physical science background that qualifies you to make categorical pronouncements on what the "facts" are and aren't?
Nag you need to wake up your a clone!!!! a pod person if you will a government clone!!! Your not a patriot!
this is a letter I received from a group called Campaign for Liberty
October 8, 2009
Dear Patriot:
Please take your time and read this email carefully.
Because if a bill quietly sneaking its way through Congress passes, an email like this could be the last non-government message to ever hit your inbox.
In fact, someday you may even find yourself unable to log in to your email in the first place!
I know what you're thinking: Maybe this is just another Internet hoax.
I wish it was.
But Barack Obama and Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) want to make this nightmare a reality. That's why Rockefeller recently introduced S. 773, "The Cybersecurity Act of 2009."
Initial cosponsors include Senators Evan Bayh (D-IN), Bill Nelson (D-FL) and Olympia Snowe (R-ME).
You see, Barack Obama is seeking sweeping new powers to "shut down" all private internet in the event of a "cybersecurity emergency" — a vague term that the President can define at his discretion.
And Rockefeller's bill gives Barack Obama just what he wants.
That's why this expansive new power grab should really be called "The Internet Takeover Bill."
As you know, the Internet has developed into an independent sphere where 1st Amendment Rights can still be (fairly) freely exercised.
It's also become an important outlet for liberty-minded speech, cutting around the Obama-worship and corporate censorship of the mainstream media.
And we've already seen the Obama Administration's reaction to any online speech they deem "fishy."
In July, the Administration called upon Americans to report their friends' and neighbors' emails to help Barack Obama silence the "disinformation" about the Obamacare bills in Congress.
Well now Barack Obama wants to cut out the middle man.
If the Internet Takeover Bill passes, Barack Obama can silence his dissenters directly — by ordering a shutdown of the U.S. Internet.
That's right, under this bill Barack Obama can order all non-government U.S. networks to shutdown from the Internet.
But that's not all.
Even outside of periods of White House-declared "emergency," this bill mandates that private-sector networks only be managed by government-licensed "cybersecurity professionals."
If you think dealing with your office IT department is bad now, just wait until they're federally-licensed bureaucrats.
And God forbid you like to visit websites that spread "fishy disinformation" like free-market healthcare solutions; passing socialized medicine could soon become enough of an "emergency" for Barack Obama to shut them down.
You know, for the public good.
Well I know I like writing to you, and I hope you like hearing from me.
Or if not me, at least you probably like staying in touch with your family and friends, and having access to uncensored news and current events.
And that's why I hope you'll help Campaign for Liberty stop the Internet Takeover Bill by signing our Internet User's Mandate to Congress.
Today, legislation like this — built on the same statist principles as the infamous Patriot Act — must sneak through Congress quietly.
They know Americans are no longer willing to swallow this swill "for our own good."
And it's especially critical that Campaign for Liberty and other fellow R3volutionaries fight this power grab.
Can you imagine how easily those in power could fabricate an "emergency" on a big money bomb day for a strong liberty candidate threatening the establishment?
Or how about message boards vital to planning and freedom rallies and protests of socialized medicine?
With "right-wing extremists" freely and visibly exercising their 2nd Amendment rights at such events, no doubt the White House could declare "emergency" and shut down all online planning.
I don't want to see good politicians lose potential millions or demonstrations of liberty extinguished. I hope you don't either.
That's why I hope you'll sign your Internet User's Mandate and make a donation right now to Campaign for Liberty to make sure that never happens.
We're going to fight this bill hard, because it's clear that the Internet is the next frontier for liberty politics, and Campaign for Liberty is right on the forefront.
So please click here to sign your Internet User's Mandate to Congress in opposition to Barack Obama's Internet Takeover and Shutdown Bill.
And in addition to signing your mandate, please make a generous contribution of $250, $100 or $50 so we can fight this Internet takeover.
We need to fight to make sure Barack Obama doesn't disconnect your computer, shut down your favorite websites, or block all your emails.
And frankly with Audit the Fed, Cap and Tax and socialized healthcare debates, Campaign for Liberty is stretched pretty thin.
And unlike the government we don't print, borrow or take money by force (taxes). Our only revenue comes from voluntary contributions from liberty activists like you.
We need you to stay educated and active.
We've put too much time into building our pro-liberty online networks, websites and email lists. We simply cannot afford to give Barack Obama the power to dismantle all that at the drop of a hat.
So please, click here to sign your Internet User's Mandate and if you can make a contribution of $250, $100 or $50 or whatever you want to Campaign for Liberty to stop this power grab...
...to defend our rights...
...and most importantly, to protect this movement.
I trust you'll join this fight to protect all the progress we've made.
In Liberty,
John Tate
President
P.S. The Internet Takeover Bill (S. 773) is threatening to "unplug" private networks from the Internet on the order of the President and dismantle the online army we've worked so hard to build.
nag
"If the film is biased, its selection and interpretation of so-called "facts" will also liekly be biased and potentially very misleading to someone unaware or unconcerned about the producer's agenda"
Biased in favour of who or what ?
Only the viewer can decide if they think it's biased
"you just keep coming up with more excuses and reasons to disbelieve and frankly call me full of shit and a whack job basically..."
I'm not calling you, "basically" or otherwise, a "whack job" or full of sh*t. And the questions I'm asking are not "excuses" but legitimate inquiries about the objectivity and qualifications of your sources and of YOU?
"Only the viewer can decide if they think it's biased"
Do YOU think it's biased in favor of any particular perspective?
Nagarjuna,
your not an idiot but why would I refer you there if I didnt think it had information.. I am so TIRED of your excuses really i am.. you dont give a shit and thats the truth or youd look now for yourself after being given tons of information and calling it uncredible...Comment and comment again is another excuses to why you wont even look at it or anything for that matter its not even the movie its anything I say! Just dont give me any of your bullshit anymore about "thinking" and "looking at both sides" and whatever else you have to say. You are a walking TV tube!
nag
"Do YOU think it's biased in favor of any particular perspective?"
My opinion would be meaningless to you. You don't even now what information it would be based on, if you can't be bothered to watch the video.
minus the donation part but that bill is scary i think..
BrendaStar
I think that they will try to impose that sort of Internet legislation on all of us eventually not just the USA.
On a more local issue in the Madeleine McCann case, lawyers have already been trying to get certain sites shut down, to stifle our freedom of speech.
One in particular has failed, but only due to the server for the site being based in Arizona, out of their jurisdiction.
Tara,
Same here a shoe i listen to had the same issue and they couldnt do anything because the sever is in AZ also.. crazy stuff..
lol.. I meant show :)
BrendaStar
This is the site concerned, showing the letter that the lawyers sent.
They overlooked the fact that although the Madeleine Foundation itself is UK based, the site owner and server is in Arizona.
They then tried going after the host provider claiming copyright on some photos and the site did shut down temporarily, but after the photos were removed the site is now back up and running again.
http://madeleinefoundation.org/main/2009/09/carter-ruck-send-letters-to-the-madeleine-foundation/
"Comment and comment again is another excuses to why you wont even look at it"
Brenda, you;ve got in bass ackwards. I'm not making "excuses" not to investigate this matter further; I'm looking for good reasons TO conduct this investigation.
Now once again, Brenda, what is your scientific expertise? Did you get your structural engineering doctorate at MIT? Caltech? Stanford? Where from?
Nagarjuna,
I have given you enough reason to and now your making a mockery of what I am talking about...
That John Tate sure sounds like someone whose objectivity and truthfulness can be trusted without question. :-)
Nag whats your expertise?
ahhh i know a bullshitter!
"My opinion would be meaningless to you. You don't even now what information it would be based on, if you can't be bothered to watch the video."
Tara, you never read a review before seeing a film, and the review is "meaningless" until after you see the film? That sure hasn't been MY experience.
"Nag whats your expertise?"
I don't claim to be expert in anything, Brenda. That's why you won't find me unequivocally declaring conspiracy theories as absolute, indubitable "fact." :-)
nag
"That's why you won't find me unequivocally declaring conspiracy theories as absolute, indubitable "fact"
Who exactly has done that ?
So, Brenda, you don't think the conspiracy theories you've been espousing and castigating me for doubting are absolute, indubitable "fact"?
Sorry, Brenda, my previous post was should have been directed to Tara. Although you can answer it too if you wish. :-)
nag
So do you think "conspiracy" theories are not based in part by facts ?
"So do you think "conspiracy" theories are not based in part by facts ?"
Not necessarily, Tara. They may be based "in part" on facts without being true. Or maybe some of them are true.
nags
"facts without being true"
So exactly how can a fact be untrue ?
"So exactly how can a fact be untrue ?"
I didn't say a fact could be untrue, Tara. I said a conspiracy theory could be untrue even though it might be based "in part" on facts.
nag
"a conspiracy theory could be untrue"
It could equally be true.
It's a matter of opinion as to whether you believe the theory or not.
Nagarjuna,
yet you claim to be saying these are conspiracy theories with absolute conviction...hmmmmmmm..
a little hypocritical? yes no maybe?????
yes.
"It could equally be true.
"It's a matter of opinion as to whether you believe the theory or not."
Tara, could it be "equally true" that the government is covering up proof of ET visitations as it is false? If the government is, in fact, not involved in any such coverup and my opinion is that it isn't, is my opinion merely an "opinion," or is it also a fact?
"yet you claim to be saying these are conspiracy theories with absolute conviction...hmmmmmmm..
a little hypocritical? yes no maybe?????
yes."
Brenda, I don't understand your point. A theory can be false or it can be true. I'm not categorically stating that the theories in question are false. Methinks you're misusing the word "hypocrisy."
Nagarjuna,
nope im not
Nag
by all means the definition is:
con·spir·a·cy :
1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
2. A group of conspirators.
3. Law An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.
4. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design.
this is not what I believe and am so to continue to call it a conspiracy when its what actually is occurring is not only saying to me that you dont validate my opinion and that you frankly think im a conspirator and by definition that is an insult!
i think i got my definitions down and the words i am using in proper fashion just fine thank you dear!
;) (wink)
Brenda, I don't understand your point at all. Are you not alleging that there was a conspiracy among members of the government to cause or participate in the destruction on 9/11, and is this not a theory that may or may not be true? If so, of what am I falsely accusing you, and how am I being "hypocritical"?
Tara, once again, what was your opinion of the video we discussed earlier? Did you think it was "fair and balanced," a partisan hack job, or somewhere in between?
BrendaStar, I don't know anything about Bigfoot, but I would not have been at all offended by having my belief regarding 9/11 compared to UFO existence. Like the 9/11 conspiracy, I think it is awfully daft of anyone to say they do not exist without review of information gathered on this subject as well. Some people are just born with this innate ability to relate and resolve all inexperience, blindly, to their own self proclaimed intelligence and then deny existence or viability.
It's a huge universe out there. We here on earth are so special to be the only life in the universe. I mean we here in la la land are so special to be the only life in the universe.
Thank you for all the articles on this case. I think it is important to keep this case on the surface of this blog.
I find it very sad that people will write these negative reviews of Carl Probyn, as posted here. I'll admit that when I look at pictures of him, I see my own perspective. To me, he looks like he has abused himself over the years. I cannot remember what you call the disorder, but many alcoholics get the enlarged, poc nose and the red rosacia nose and cheeks. I seriously think he has taken the kidnapping and the FBI's attempt to make him the prime suspect took a toll on this man. I think he has severely punished himself and was lost within for many years over this. So what if he speaks out now, so what how he does it, so what for whatever reason he is "really" doing it. Let us not forget he is a humane being just like Jaycee and her daughters. I hope Terry Probyn and he can also come together with all questions relating to Jaycee's disappearance answered now. What a mess to have people interject on your life the way people, and namely the FBI did to this family. I hear there were other witnesses that gave accounts of seeing the Garridos trolling the neighborhood, and even had described them for drawings. With this information, I cannot fathom why the law continued to press Carl Probyn so hard. I think they owe him as well as Jaycee.
Hey there Boogie! How is the mediation going?
"...I don't know anything about Bigfoot, but I would not have been at all offended by having my belief regarding 9/11 compared to UFO existence. Like the 9/11 conspiracy, I think it is awfully daft of anyone to say they do not exist without review of information gathered on this subject as well. "
*****
I'm sure Garrido's defense team will employ such reasoning regarding "The Blackbox".
However, it would be awefully "daft" of them to do so.
Good morning, my people. I got to work for an hour today. Hooray.
I have nothing that I feel compelled to argue about with you guys today, since so far, I am having an OK day and would like to keep it that way. :)
The nurse called me and I had to go get my son from school. And I have alot of running to do for my mother today since she is not going to be here for a long time.
Have a great day everyone and God bless you to the fullest. peace
Good morning everyone. I'm finally back at my own computer.
Goodmorning goblinbee :)
TheBoogieManHater,
you are so smart!!! :) I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that and if it would be commentend on concerning Carl Probyn... I agree I feel he is a man that a town at the time and i lived here to know and here the rumors that had a town turn his back on him! That is the truth. Up until the day Jaycee was found people up here still thought he had something to do with it. It was a rumor that he had once worked with a girl prior that matched the composite sketch he had given as well as it had been said around town that he had abused drugs and harder drugs... So Carl I will say has been beat up quite a bit over this and abuse was endured over this plus I am sure many years of guilt. He does look to me that he has abused alchohol. Puffy body plus broken blood capilaries around the nose and cheeks is a very commom side effect of alchohol abuse.. I see that too. I feel bad for him and may heart brakes for him at times..as well as Jaycee and her mom and her family.. I mean Phillip Gariddo really messed a lot of people lives up, a lot.. and devestated one mans life to no end and can you imagine being accused of such a crime for years by the law and your peers? As well as Terry and Carl it completely ruined Terry for years and Destroyed their marriage on to of everything. I DO NOT agree with the women's center right now on that side the rest maybe the rape victim syndrome but that I DO NOT. They also put out another statement in an article about a school being closed for drugs suspicion and violations of child laws ect. and they put out a statement that they gave good rates! I was appalled as a mother like we put good rates over our child care. just ridiculous the women's center ha s lot of new people and they have lost my credibility as of the last year. I appreciate what they do for battered women but other then that i highly have questioned decisions they have made locally and comments they make ect. It on assumption vs. professional opinion and that is inappropriate.. :)
Good Morning Boogie :)
TheBoogieManHater,
I for one never siad they do dnot exist I fort one believe in aliens and bigfoot and have watched many things on those and cover ups about the ufo's it not area 51 but its another place I watched this whole 3 hour special on it one time and it countless men that had served during this time in the army tell about picking up giant alien wreckage and taking it to a place that i cant remember the name grrr.... :) i hate that but that they tested aliens and all of that.. so I never said that I did not believe that stuff or understand how it could relate on that level. But I will and do stand by word and say that it dies and did offend m,e to have 9/11 related to bigfoot it ides 3,000 plus murders does not compare to bigfoot right now to me..
too many typos to fix in that last one j/k haha im rusty...
Nagarjuna,
As you continue to quiz Tara have you even watched the movie yet?
Goodmorning BrendaStar. I agree with you and Boogie. I think Carl Probyn has suffered greatly over this. Not only was his daughter missing, but he was accused, and people probably infected his life with words of contempt and hate. Double or triple heartbreak. I don't know, but I would think the people in Tahoe could come together for him as well. Obviously his heart needs some loving care after 18 years of this. God Bless that entire family and bring them together as a whole.
"Obviously his heart needs some loving care after 18 years of this."
So beautifully said. Many people ache for him. I hope he will feel the love and support.
Nag,
you continue to call me a conspirator when I am not. I am plainly seeing what was done along time ago to now and how the banking and politics have completely meshed and how it is wrong and that I feel as an American that we are bring lied to because of obvious.. lies! Thats how I feel its not a conspiracy its how I feel...There is too much corp. benefit from the war and Iraq the Carlyle group and many other private groups that conveniently run our government, banks, media, tv, our money, education system, OIL, Bin ladins being highly invested with the Clinton's and the Bush family.. While do all these small groups of dominant men continue to reap benefit off of the war our economy our government, and at the expense of the American people, and at the expense of people all over the world, ect? since the early 1900's why? This is not a conspiracy to me it is what is.. you just cant see it.. for whatever reason.. But its treason!!!!!!! in the highest form. This is not a bunch of documentary's im regurgitating this is how I feel..
YouAreSuchAFreak,
So true, so true. :)
and I will add I think Obama deserves in OSCAR over the nobel piece prize!!!
I would love to give the women's center a word or two. How irresponsible. I just read that again. Sounds like words from men bashers instead of women supporters.
BrendaStar, I looked at all the old posts and I couldn't figure out again which ones needed further response as I told you I would do the other day. If you know, let me know. LOL
YouAreSuchAFreak,
You are so right that is how I feel too. about the W.C. as of late.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
Oh geez i cant remember now..lol.. if anything strikes your fancy feel free to to comment on it :)
I know a lot of la te dah is made over the Nobel Peace prize, but I do not, and never have, given it much thought or recognition. It is just a handful of individuals from Norwegian who make the decision. With all the individuals in the world doing good works, I have always felt this to be ridiculous to choose one person a year, and on just a handful of individuals say so.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
I just cant believe it with Iran and Afghanistan... and all kinds of other things he gets the Nobel Piece Prize... i just think its ridiculous.
After the G20 conference and his UN address prior the UN was calling him "the president of the World!"
LOL, that is good Nobel "Piece" prize. Exactly!!! A piece of the action, a piece of the cake. No peace in sight!!! I just heard they are NOT going to pull our troops out because other countries of the UN do not have enough troops to help "keep things civil" over there. Nobel Piece prize. Yes.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
The irony right!!! :)
I have to add that anyone without a degree can figure this stuff out too you dont have to be trained in a special area of expertise to smell bullshit! :) lol..
Nag that was for you :)
do you talk to Samantha still freak?
I was not going to say anything simply because it is fruitless to argue with opinions, but BrendaStar I am so glad you finally picked up on that. I did ask myself WHAT???? again when I read that last night. If you do not have a degree, you are not allowed to read, gather facts, make conclusions, make decisions, and I wanted to ask, should those who do not have degrees be allowed to vote?
I haven't blogged with Samantha for a week or more now. I do not think she will come back to this blog. She is pretty disgusted with some comments and individuals who made them.
YouAreSuchAFreak
LOL... hahahaha :) i picked up on that yesterday but was to worked up to respond i had to take a break.. I watched a movie called the Peaceful Warrior and made dinner :) then i thought ill tackle that tomorrow :) lol.. No one without a degree or specialized in an area is capable of making a intelligent observation and have an opinion and decision on how they feel...
Nag who has told you these lies that people are not capable of these actions?
YouAreSuchAFreak,
I got that from her last comment I was hoping to keep in touch with her somehow.. If you talk to her maybe you could pass that along :) (bummer)
Freak I do believe it is your day off today :) happy day off
it certainly isnt buddha
oh yes, that is what I saw that I needed to respond to. We told you that Samantha would have the application link to get into that blog. She does not, she is a new member herself. Boogie's brother sent her the application.
I only go in there with Boogie, who is not a police officer, but whose brother is one and Boogie helped build that Blog for him and created some of activities for them, and continues to do that for the website. These guys need to relax and get their mind away from what they see on the streets.
If you work in any peace officer position, you can get in. What do you do for a living BrendaStar?
I am suppose to work only 2 days a week anymore, that does not happen as it should.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
I have worked in healthcare billing and admin dept. I was a surgery scheduler and biller and I dealt with surgery authorizations for 5 years. I was laid off in April when the economy took a dive so I help elderly people right now part time all around this time my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 advanced cancer so I have been taking care of her also she has required 2 surgeries and now intravenous Kemo and then to make ends meet I do landscaping and maintenance for peoples home sup here but there has been no jobs in the medical field up here at all right now for what I desire, so eventually after my moms treatments settle down I desire to get back into a facility and continue with Patient Advocating is what I desire.
an e mail by Michael Moore interesting lol he see's the irony in this too the Nobel PIECE prize..lol..
this was sent to me by a friend:
Congratulations President Obama on the Nobel Peace Prize -- Now Please Earn it!
Friday, October 9th, 2009
Dear President Obama,
How outstanding that you've been recognized today as a man of peace. Your swift, early pronouncements -- you will close Guantanamo, you will bring the troops home from Iraq, you want a nuclear weapon-free world, you admitted to the Iranians that we overthrew their democratically-elected president in 1953, you made that great speech to the Islamic world in Cairo, you've eliminated that useless term "The War on Terror," you've put an end to torture -- these have all made us and the rest of the world feel a bit more safe considering the disaster of the past eight years. In eight months you have done an about face and taken this country in a much more sane direction.
But...
The irony that you have been awarded this prize on the 2nd day of the ninth year of our War in Afghanistan is not lost on anyone. You are truly at a crossroads now. You can listen to the generals and expand the war (only to result in a far-too-predictable defeat) or you can declare Bush's Wars over, and bring all the troops home. Now. That's what a true man of peace would do.
There is nothing wrong with you doing what the last guy failed to do -- capture the man or men responsible for the mass murder of 3,000 people on 9/11. BUT YOU CANNOT DO THAT WITH TANKS AND TROOPS. You are pursuing a criminal, not an army. You do not use a stick of dynamite to get rid of a mouse.
The Taliban is another matter. That is a problem for the people of Afghanistan to resolve -- just as we did in 1776, the French did in 1789, the Cubans did in 1959, the Nicaraguans did in 1979 and the people of East Berlin did in 1989. One thing is certain through all revolutions by people who wish to be free -- they ultimately have to bring about that freedom themselves. Others can be supportive, but freedom can not be delivered from the front seat of someone else's Humvee.
You have to end our involvement in Afghanistan now. If you don't, you'll have no choice but to return the prize to Oslo.
Yours,
Michael Moore

P.S. Your opposition has spent the morning attacking you for bringing such good will to this country. Why do they hate America so much? I get the feeling that if you found the cure for cancer this afternoon they'd be denouncing you for destroying free enterprise because cancer centers would have to close. There are those who say you've done nothing yet to deserve this award. As far as I'm concerned, the very fact that you've offered to walk into the minefield of hate and try to undo the irreparable damage the last president did is not only appreciated by me and millions of others, it is also an act of true bravery. That's why you got the prize. The whole world is depending on the U.S. -- and you -- to literally save this planet. Let's not let them down.
its been a hard year.
when i was laid off I was devastated.
then my mom and well lets just say it was a pride swallowing, heart wrenching roller coaster ride.
The economy is terrible right now to look for work. Sorry to hear that you are having troubles with finding a new job as well as your mother's plight. I hope your mother is doing well with the Chemo treatments. That is a tough treatment to deal with. Maybe it is not my business to say, but whenever anyone I know has had to deal with that, I always suggest they go to Dr. Schultz' website and review the different body cleanses to remove as much of the chemical as possible. Energize the body to fight the cancer better. It is hard to stick with his plans, but I have seen some fairly miraculous success stories from his natural remedies. I would never suggest people stop taking doctor's orders, but I would never tell a person they should believe their doctors when the doctors say this naturopathic remedies are a farce. I have just seen to much truth to it, and have taken some of this things myself. As well as other stores products.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
Well luckily I have work but its not what I want to do but I will get back there.. things are really tuff up here right now..but one thing i learned in all of this is that I wont fall and when you are down and you feel like you cant walk there is someone and something there to carry you along the way :) Me and my mom have looked into a lot of things thank you for your suggestion we will look at that as well I promise you that..
Sorry, had to cut that last post short, was struggling to get my greys out of their cage to take them outside so the cage could be cleaned LOL. They were pitching a fit and feathers and feather dust is now all over.
One other thing I was going to tell you about the naturopathic treatments. It always works better if you do a complete liver and intestinal tract cleaning. Then eat the natural herbs and such with a clean tract.... it helps absorb all the nutrient and such so much better. You just have to remember to only eat good healthy foods when the insides are so clean, because it also absorbs cholesterol and fats, etc. so much easier also, and when you are sick, these are horrible on your system. A good cleanser which is rather cheap considering others is LiverCare 51. It is also filled with nutrients. After about 3 weeks your liver, gallbladder and insestinal tract is super clean.
Whoops... Typo LiverCare 52

YouAreSuchAFreak,
My mom has had to have her gallbladder removed and her Left Kidney now due to her tumor that grew from her ureter into her kidney and into her muscle wall and prev. prior to that she had her gallbladder removed because of gallbladder dysfunction.. We now talk about food all the time and what she has to eat and what she can not process any longer its been trial and error her stomach is out of whack..
thank you for the link I appreciate it :)
In this case, I have to say Cheaper does not mean anything about the product. It is all natural and very effective in quite a bit less time than some of these other products they sell on television.
Interesting stuff an article i found:
Len Horowitz Files Pandemic Charges with FBI in NYC
Federal Jack
September 16, 2009
Friends,
The substance of the message below on a false flag h1n1 flu pandemic has been widely discussed on the net for months, but the message indicates the first serious US legal action I have seen on it. I have with the help of many been tracking this issue as it affects states and localities, anticipating the need to file injunction lawsuits v. any government taking steps to compel vaccination. It is presumed by Dr. Horowitz and others that government will attempt to compel vaccination v. h1n1, which is not possible under current law, especially US Constitution and state constitution law for many First Amendment and related privacy and civil rights reasons. I offer the message as a warning as to how serious the talks, research and some of the proposed h1n1 policy state laws under consideration opposing civil rights, especially in ME, MA and OK, have become.
Having read of lawsuits filed against h1n1 in Europe for reasons indicated in the below article, I am convinced that there is considerable reason not to take any new so called h1n1 vaccine, and to prepare for simlilar suits in the US, which I am prepared to do.
To lawyers receiving this message, I welcome your comments on how to prepare clients and friends to defend against unconstitutional h1n1 legislation and acts, and any common effort we might begin in the US.

another thing I have found beneficial to becoming healthy again was bentonite clay. Pharmaceutical grade in capsules to help later, but mainly at this point to remove toxins that get in the way of healing. Especially in older people who do not sweat so much. Sweating is another way the body uses to expel toxins... Soaking in a Bentonite clay bath is highly beneficial to removing those toxins. The more you get out, the stronger fight you have going for you.
It is a tough fight, but a worthy cause to throw everything at it.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
Thank you for all the information I will talk to my mom about all of this and she loves baths :) to that is a great idea..
i meant so that is a great idea :)
"you continue to call me a conspirator when I am not."
Where have I called you a "conspirator," Brenda?
I did ask how old you were at one point you and boogie just out of curiosity but I also stated if you were uncomfortable answering that that it was okay too :)
Nag
you refer to what I am saying as conspiracy theories over and over again.
More of the same... money is used to beget more money. Educated crooks. What a farce. Look what greed does to people. They have very beneficial careers. There is good money in medicine, but once they get a taste of that good money, even then it is not enough. So many are caught in unethical tactics trying to gain even more money.
Look at all the pharmaceutical companies that new their drugs were causing breast cancer and kept that to themselves while they continued to legally push it their drugs through advertisement and giving bonuses to doctors to prescribe their dirty medicine.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
So true.. its a horrible vicious cycle isnt it?
I am 56, I will let Boogie determine whether that information should be divulged LOL
YouAreSuchAFreak,
:) thank you for sharing and i think that is decent as a good friend to do that :)
Boogie, I, for one, am not saying ET's don't exist or even that they haven't visited Earth. I agree that the universe is fantastically vast and populated with stars and, undoubtedly, planets, some of which may very well sport intelligent species with sufficiently advanced technologies for interstellar travel.
Having said that, I think it's very unlikely that any of them have come here. After all, why would they? How would they even know of our existence?
So, even though I can't rule out the possibility that they've come here, and it would be enormously significant if they have and we knew it, there isn't sufficient reason to believe in it for me to devote untold hours to checking out all the websites, articles, and videos by purported "experts" claiming that ET's have visited us.
And, the same could legitimately be said of 9/11 conspiracy theories.
"I for one never siad they do dnot exist I fort one believe in aliens and bigfoot and have watched many things on those and cover ups about the ufo's it not area 51 but its another place"
Brenda, why am I not surprised that you believe in these things and that you could no doubt cite all kinds of videos and such by "experts" "proving" these "facts"? :-)
"and I will add I think Obama deserves in OSCAR over the nobel piece prize!!!"
Why is THAT, Brenda?
Just one comment, I have noted you to say that you will not educate yourself on several occasions, simply because you think it is a waste of your time. Saying that it is a waste of your time, says in itself that you already have your own preconceived ideas. Where did you get your own preconceived ideas that rally all other possibilities around you if you do not read and research? From your own intellect, your own Budda tranquility sessions?
If your true reasoning is "not wanting to waste your time", what is by your definition wasting your time? Why are do you spend so much time in this blog? Why do you find this so important versus reading and researching to educate yourself on important matters? Why must you always have some sort of conflict with someone, anyone, on this blog?
"With all the individuals in the world doing good works, I have always felt this to be ridiculous to choose one person a year, and on just a handful of individuals say so."
I'm inclined to agree with you on that, Freak. There is something to be said, I suppose, for singling out particularly accomplished individuals for recognition so that they might inspire others to strive and accomplish actions that facilitate world peace. But it DOES seem as though, if they're going to do this, they need to find a better way of choosing more worthy recipients of the prize. As much as I respect Obama, I believe that awarding him this year's prize was, at best, premature. And I think he would be the first one to admit it, as he more or less did during his press conference.
oh my BrendaStar, I forgot the biggest medical crook(s) of them all...Dr. Dipak Desai and his little flunkies!!!
Nagarjuna,
Nope thats where you are wrong I said that I beleived in what those people had stated they saw themselves to what extent I have no idea! and Bigfoot is the same I am not sure but it is interesting thats it.Who am I to say someone didnt see soemthing they say they did? I am not out there fighting for alien UFO recognition or for bigfoot so give me a break. I stated originally that I dont even put this in that category whatsoever and I stated that again. I stand by 3,000 murdered citizens that have never had justice. In no way is this the same for me.. You are the one too that threw those in there.. so its your insinuation.. I am no one to say bigfoot doesnt exist, or does and the same with UFO's because I do not know, but i do know that ALL those other things that I have state about the government are indeed TRUE and you would know too if you researched it at all but you have not so I do not understand and never will why you argue something you know nothing about!
"I have to add that anyone without a degree can figure this stuff out too you dont have to be trained in a special area of expertise to smell bullshit! :) lol.."
But I suspect that before you can categorically state as absolute, indubitable "fact" that those planes couldn't have brought down those buildings all by themselves, and if there is disagreement about this between recognized experts in relevant fields, you darn well better be an expert yourself in one or more of those fields to make such a pronouncement. And, again, I ask Where is YOUR engineering or scientific expertise, Brenda?
BrendaStar, I know where you get your expertice. You read, study and research. I hope to see more of this than argue a repetitive argument.
Nagarjuna,
what is your expertise in oh doubtful one??
do you have a PHD in a Hypocritical degree?
"myself WHAT???? again when I read that last night. If you do not have a degree, you are not allowed to read, gather facts, make conclusions, make decisions, and I wanted to ask, should those who do not have degrees be allowed to vote?"
If you read my arguments more closely, Freak, perhaps you would have understood that I wasn't suggesting that people without scientific or engineering degrees can't look into 9/11 conspiracy theories and the like. However, if there is disagreement even among people with expertise in these fields, then someone without such expertise is hardly qualified to say absolutely, unequivocally that some of these experts are wrong and others, those who agree with the unqualified person's beliefs, are right. In other words, someone without that advanced engineering or scientific degree should remain a little more humble about stating what the "facts" are.
BrendaStar, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the alleged conspiracy in relation to experts vs. experts, and why the experts would lie to say it was a natural fall from airplane fuel fires, etc. Did not experts write the adversary papers, publishing them for the world to see that it is fact that the airplane crash and fires could not have caused this. Is it not a fact that these published papers are where you are getting your facts.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
That is 100% correct. and that is what sparked me into this years ago like i said it just went on and on after that... of other experts challenging these scenarios and situations. but now im not an expert so according to Nag at this point I should have no opinion and just take it!
Do you know how one becomes an Expert BrendaStar?
but yet Nag argues with again NO knowledge to back any of this up, and yes Nag you already have a preconceived idea and video tape that has been played in your head of what occurred and you accept it as is.. your programmed.
They become educated. Whether by school, or by experience, study and research. Time in their field. I work with experts on a regular basis. Judges and juries make decisions based on expert opinions.
id say education, knowledge, and study!
I think you should feel free to give your opinion no matter what anyone else may tell you. You and you alone know how much you studied, but what I note is that you offer information to allow others to educate themselves more than giving your opinions. I admire that. I do not know enough about 9/11, I do know you have opened Boogie's eyes to this. I rely on Boogie to inform me now LOL.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
Thank you I do try to push people to look it up themselves and base their own opinion and i kindly thank you for realizing that.
I am so glad that Boogie got interest and that you will be informed through Boogie and well myself also :)
I would say that it is the communities preference to learn of things in such a way in order to make a determination. No one can know everything.... a judge and jury can in no way know psychology or "the study of the minds of people" when they work in the field of Medicine or Law. We all count on others to advise us of their knowledge in their field. Every day decisions are made by acceptance of the knowledge of others in their own field of work to make very important decisions.
A perfect example of this is in Garrido's last trial transcript.... Experts (psychologists) were brought to the witness stand. Before any questions are asked about their opinions of P. Garrido, a series of questions are asked of the education of the psychologist, where did you go to school, what did you study, where have you worked, how many years have you worked in this field, after the witness is examined as to his/her expertise, they are asked to be recognized as an expert in the field. Once recognized by the Court, their words can be weighed by the Judge or Jury as fact.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
very interesting.. good example.
What I am trying to get at, and not very well I might add, is that you have studied, you have your opinions, this is not a Courtroom, it is a blog, I cannot state that I accept you as an expert because I have not examined your expertise, but it is not required in a blog. I do see you are well studied, and therefore I feel you should continue to educate, supply links for people to learn. I do not think you need to defend yourself here anymore in other words.
If for nothing else, what better way to get the population involved in their own futures with our government. But also, if in fact our government did do the things I am hearing, it should be busted wide open.
YouAreSuchAFreak,
I agree with you. Point well taken.
Tara watched this movie yesterday it is really interesting.. it also has interesting information in regards to Enron and the Bin Ladins and documents in regards to this. I think Boogie would find this EXTREMELY interesting.
here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28tE0fKpISM
I copied and pasted your post so I remember where it is later, but Boogie will probably find it anyway.
There has been a lot of talk about what the media will say and what they will not say, that they are at the mercy of the government in what they can say. I do see a threat there, but do wonder, other than reporters losing their jobs, what the threat actually is to them to prevent them from publishing some of these things, but also only reporting negative crud such as murders, rapes, robberies, etc.
How is the government able to control this and if so, how is free speech not recognized as it relates to exposing the government for anything? Do you know anything on this?
freak
"I do see a threat there, but do wonder, other than reporters losing their jobs, what the threat actually is to them to prevent them from publishing some of these things"
In the UK there is such a thing as a DA Notice.
"In Britain, a Defence Advisory Notice or DA-Notice (called a Defence Notice or D-Notice until 1993) is an official request to news editors not to publish or broadcast items on specified subjects for reasons of national security.
D-Notices and DA-notices are merely a request and therefore not legally enforceable and consequently news editors can choose to ignore them without (in theory) official repercussions, although they are generally accepted by the media."
Even though this is not legally enforcable, in practice, the media do not ignore them and do comply.
I have no idea if you have similar in the USA, but I would imagine it's more than likely.
Thank you. I believe I found from that information that the FCC in the US may be at least one of the entities responsible for what the Media can be held responsible for publishing here now.
"you refer to what I am saying as conspiracy theories over and over again."
How does this answer my question of why you accuse me of accusing you of being a "conspirator," Brenda?
I've been trying to catch up today on news that happened while I was on vacation, particularly the Polanski controversy. Maybe you all discussed this while I was gone?
The Hollywood support for Polanski is turning my stomach. I am disgusted by people calling for his immediate release. If Polanski had been a Catholic priest who had drugged and sodomized a 13-year-old boy 30 years ago, I do not think Hollywood would be defending him. Quite the contrary. What could they be thinking?!?
BrendaStar,
Hello there.
I was surfing around earlier today and ran across this article on the h1n1 flu, I thought you may be interested to read it. I have no knowledge of this sites reliability.
I'll be right back to paste it...
http://www.naturalnews.com/026141.html
Ok, a good bit of the article is viewable, but then one must register to view the rest. I wasn't interested in doing that.
Hey goblinbee,
Didn't he make or produce or direct (whatever),...Rosemary's Baby?
Horrible movie!
Hey goblinbee,
Didn't he make or produce or direct (whatever),...Rosemary's Baby?
Horrible movie!
"Saying that it is a waste of your time, says in itself that you already have your own preconceived ideas. Where did you get your own preconceived ideas that rally all other possibilities around you if you do not read and research? From your own intellect, your own Budda tranquility sessions?"
That's a fair question, Freak, and a good one. I think I've already answered it, but let me do so again here.
Yes, I DO have a "preconceived idea." Not that these 9/11 and other conspiracy theories are indubitably false, but that they are so unlikely to be true that I WOULD be wasting my time spending umpteen hours conducting exhaustive research on them. To my way of thinking, it would be like me saying to you, "ET's are visiting Earth and abducting humans and performing tests on them, and, you should either take my word for it because I say it's established fact, or you should spend the hundreds of hours I have researching it to decide for yourself." Chances are, you would consider doing this research a waste of your time not because you have absolutely decided that these ET claims are false, but because you think they're sufficiently unlikely to be true to put in the time investigating them.
"If your true reasoning is "not wanting to waste your time", what is by your definition wasting your time? Why are do you spend so much time in this blog? Why do you find this so important versus reading and researching to educate yourself on important matters? Why must you always have some sort of conflict with someone, anyone, on this blog?"
More fair questions, Freak. My short answers are (1) I think I'm wasting my time if I'm doing something I don't enjoy doing and don't see sufficient rewards likely to come from it to justify spending the time to do it. (2) I spend the time I do here, although it's much diminished from what it used to be, because I enjoy it. (3) When I'm monitoring this blog, I am usually doing other things on the computer too, including research in areas in which I AM interested. (4) I'm not looking for "conflict" with others here, but if I disagree with someone or they disagree with me, it's likely to surface as part of our discussion.
Coonhound, yes he directed Rosemary's Baby. I hated that movie too.
Nag,
How's your new blog coming along?
"but that they are so unlikely to be true that I WOULD be wasting my time spending umpteen hours conducting exhaustive research on them."
Why are they so "unlikely" to you. What information do you have that tells you this. (I have not seen any fact from you on this, just statements. When facts are offered to you, you reject them, but continue. What is your purpose if not to diminish value to the subject?) More importantly, what information do you have that gives you the right to "imply" that others are wasting their time when they find it so viably important, and why would you want to interject that others be careful to listen to another on that subject if you are not even interested to hear the facts? I am not saying it is wrong to have your own interests and not be interested in what others are. But why say anything in judgment at all at this point?
Second, it is a fact, "proven" that items have been surgically taken from individuals that have claimed to have been abducted. These items that contain no earthly substance and are non-destructive. I think that is solid enough to give any interested party interest to seek more facts about what is known to be out there.
I hardly think it is a waste of time for anyone interested in anything at all to read, study and research without criticism or attempts to sway individuals from their interest and work. That's all I have to say on the subject.
Oh! Goblinbee.
Somehow I had that movie on dvd, I guess I picked it up buying a box of dvd's at a yard sale.
Anyway, when my son was around 9 or 10 he ended up viewing it with his friends, it was around halloween and they were watching scary movies.
When I walked into the room and saw "one particular scene" I wanted TO DIE.
***
He was also married to sharon tate when manson's followers killed her and her baby.
"I am no one to say bigfoot doesnt exist, or does and the same with UFO's because I do not know,"
I too am no one to say bigfoot and ET's don't exist.
"but i do know that ALL those other things that I have state about the government are indeed TRUE"
I respectfully suggest that YOU are "no one" to be so absolutely sure of what you say you are.
"How's your new blog coming along?"
I'm ready to start it, Coonhound, but I'm having trouble with Blogger, so I can't put it online yet. A friend may help me with it this weekend or next if I can't figure it out myself.
BrendaStar: I am sad to see you have left the conversation. I looked to see if I said something to cause this. My last statement to you did omit something: "I do see you are well studied, and therefore I feel you should continue to educate, supply links for people to learn."
I should have written: I do see you are well studied, and therefore I feel you should continue to educate, GIVE YOUR OPINIONS AND supply links for people to learn from.
I suspect your years of research and study would qualify you as an "expert" if you were examined.
Nagarjuna,
Here's an interesting topic to research.
The protocols of the Elders of Zion
Many groups, including the nazi's, have used it to promote their agenda since (before) 1903. Each group manipulatesit to promote their cause. I have ran across it before around "religious" christians.
After this recent discussion on the NWO I have been digging deeper into where and by whom it orginated.
The "Protocols" have a very interesting and notorious reputation as propaganda.
Right now I am reading a book documenting and debinking "the protocols". The book is call:
History of A Lie
By Herman Bernstein
Written in 1921
Also Nagarjuna...
Protocols have already been proven to be plagarized from a fiction book written in @1897.
The jews were not the first to have this protocol propaganda used against them. But certainly they have endured it the longest.
Nag,
I am VERY interested in reading the book from 1897 that the "protocols" were originally "lifted" and plagarized.
Sorry I do not know the book right of the top of my head.
But do know that it is understood that a russian took a part out of this fictious book that tells a tale of Jesuits conspiring to take over the world.
Once plagarized by the russians they replaced Jesuits with Bolshiviks(sp).
And then eventually the jews were substituted.
The kkk relied heavily on this exact propaganda.
Christians who believe that biblical prophecy has not been completed also often refer to these "protocols".
Also, back in the very early 1900's one of the first (Sergius Nilus-i think it was him) to proclaim validity in the protocols also believed that he had a religious experience/visitation with an angel that validated the protocols.
That was my contribution for the day. Everyone have a splendid night...I know I will!!!
(Nagarjuna, I do believe you have other blogs that demand your time and WISDOM, as well!) Hah
November 25, 1991
THE EARLY MORNING SUNSHINE flashed on Jaycee Dugard's blond hair, pink windbreaker and white sneakers as she headed up the long hill from her home to the school bus stop. Her mother, Terry, 32, had already driven off to work. In the garage, Carl Probyn, 43, stopped his chores to watch the little girl. Three years had passed since he married Terry, and for much of the time the child, accustomed to life alone with her mom, had resented Carl's intrusion. But in the nine months since the family had moved from Orange County, Calif., to the rural beauty of South Lake Tahoe (pop. 25,000), Carl had watched with pleasure as the quiet 11-year-old opened up to her new life, to her new baby sister, Shana, now 22 months—and especially to her new dad.
Carl gazed at Jaycee as she neared the top of the hill, nearly a third of a mile away. Then a car creeping slowly down the road caught his eye. He moved closer to the door. "Maybe I know these people," he thought. "Maybe the man behind the wheel nor the dark-haired woman next to him looked familiar, and just after the small, gray sedan passed Probyn's home, it made a quick U-turn and headed back up the hill. Squinting in the bright light, Carl watched, puzzled, as it cut across the road and jolted to a stop in front of Jaycee. "Well," he thought, "it's Jaycee's friend's mom playing a joke." Then suddenly the driver's door was flung open, and in one horrifying moment Jaycee was dragged into the car, and Carl understood his mistake. "I heard Jaycee scream," says Carl, "and she was gone."
It has been five months since little Jaycee disappeared before her stepfather's eyes: five months since an Eldorado County officer approached her mother, Terry Probyn, at the printing shop where she worked as a graphic designer and in a grave, hushed voice broke the devastating news: "We have reason to believe your daughter was kidnapped."
Today, despite searches—door-to-door and through the nearby pine forests—and pleas for information on local radio and national television, the little girl in the pink windbreaker is still missing—and police have no significant leads. "It's like having open-heart surgery," says Terry, "Without being closed back up."
At first nothing could stop the pain. The day Terry learned of her daughter's abduction, she smoked cigarette after cigarette and drank herself into a stupor. Over the next month, friends and family members came and went, sharing in Terry's grief—but providing little comfort. Day after day, the despondent mother sank deeper into a dark hole of drunkenness, tears and heavy, troubled sleep. "I couldn't function," she says. "I was walking the floors, ranting and raving, thinking the worst."
Terry even lashed out at her husband. Logically, she understood that Carl had been in the garage that morning without his car keys, that he had jumped on his bike in a futile attempt to reach Jaycee, that his pedaling was no match for the steep hill or for the car that sped away with Jaycee before he could see the license number. She knew, too, that it was Carl who immediately called 911, Carl who provided the authorities with what little information they have about the abductors. But in her anguish, all Terry could think was, "Why didn't he do more?"
At first police asked the same question. Knowing that the vast majority of kidnappings involve family members—only four of California's 240 reported kidnappings last year are confirmed stranger abductions—local authorities, together with the FBI, questioned all relatives. But it was Carl who was subjected to the closest scrutiny. "Did you ever wish Jaycee wasn't here?" police asked him during two lie-detector tests—which he passed—and while he was under hypnosis. "It made me nervous," he says. "I had to say, 'Sure, there were times I'd wished Jaycee wasn't in our life.' I think every parent has wished that." Ultimately the police decided that Carl's occasional ambivalence about his stepdaughter was as innocent as he said it was. "We're 99.9 percent sure this is not a family abduction," says Eldorado County Sgt. Jim Watson. Terry, also, decided it was time to begin healing the wound that was destroying her family. "One Sunday I was by myself, and suddenly I just got this inner strength to quit crying and get on with it," she says.
At that point she and Carl went on the offensive. With the help of the local community, they've made more than 500,000 posters to display throughout the country. Casinos in nearby Nevada donated $1000 in reward money. The determined parents speak tirelessly to the press, waking up before dawn to write hundreds of letters to TV stations and newspapers, homeless shelters and police stations—"just asking them to keep an eye out," says Terry.
As public awareness mounted, calls from across the country poured in—few of them helpful. Some, says Terry, were cruel and frightening. "For the first few weeks they were driving me crazy with satanic theories," she explains. Others were simply off-base. "One woman called and said she felt that Jaycee was in a trunk of a car at a casino," recalls Terry of one tip from a self-proclaimed psychic. "So we spent the day knocking on trunks of cars at casinos."
Police have been no more successful. For the moment, in fact, they have only one bit of information that could be a clue: Carl's description of the woman in the car as Indian or Pakistani, with jet-black hair and dark eyes. Several people, it turns out, saw a woman matching that description at an art fair where Jaycee and her parents had been working the weekend before the abduction. That doesn't bring police any closer to Jaycee or her kidnappers—"She could be anywhere in the world right now," says Watson—but it docs give Terry pause. The evening before Jaycee disappeared, she recalls, her daughter seemed preoccupied. "Something was on her mind, something she wouldn't tell me," says Terry. "I wonder if she wanted to tell me she'd been approached by this woman at the fair."
In a way, the presence of a woman is soothing to Terry, offering a motivation for the kidnapping more palatable, somehow, than bleak theories involving prostitution or slavery rings. "The police said perhaps the woman had lost her own child," she explains, "that maybe she look Jaycee because of her grief. If that is true," she adds, "all I can say is, 'Please, let my child go. You may like her, but I love her.' "
In her daughter's tiny bedroom, where a colony of stuffed animals huddle, undisturbed, on the bed, Terry gazes at a collage of family photos on the wall. "Everything I do reminds me of her," she says. Now and again, from the window of the living room, where she spends feverish hours making posters and buttons and writing letters in her search for Jaycee, Terry glimpses a nervous mother walking her child to the bus stop at the top of the hill. "I have dreams that Jaycee's walking down that hill and into the house," says Terry. Carl, too, is haunted by thoughts of his stepdaughter. "It's heartbreaking not knowing where she is," he says, "or if she's still alive." In her parents' bedroom, Jaycee's sister, Shana is taking a nap. "I think she knows something's not right," says Terry. "Sometimes Shana will grab a [HAVE YOU SEEN JAYCEE?] button and kiss the picture of Jaycee." Terry's eyes fill with tears. "It breaks my heart when she asks for her 'sissy,' " she says, smiling sadly. "We just say she'll be home soon."
"Why are they so "unlikely" to you. What information do you have that tells you this."
Good question, Freak. I think one very good reason to consider it exceedingly unlikely is that someone involved in this or involved with someone who was involved in this would have leaked it, or some enterprising journalists or investigators would have put the pieces together in such a definitive way that the truth would have come out in a much more convincing and prominent way than it apparently has.
Second, how and why was this carried out? The U.S government hired the hijackers to kill themselves and thousands of our own citizens as well as cause billions of dollars worth of damage to buildings including the center of our military complex and power so we could go to war with Iraq? The U.S. government knew what the hijackers had planned and it planted supplemental explosives in the building and timed their detonations so well that they weren't obvious to anyone but the REAL exoerts Brenda believes? Does all of this really seem plausible enough to you for you to conduct a thorough investigation of it?
"When facts are offered to you, you reject them, but continue."
Freak, I haven't "rejected" any of them. I've merely explained why I'm as skeptical as I am of them. Please recall how my involvement in this whole "conspiracy theory" discussion began. I interjected a simple comment to the effect that people might be well served to be very circumspect about embracing these theories, and I was jumped on for that. All I've been saying since then, in response to continuing accusations of my "hypocrisy" and closed-mindedness is that there is enough reason to doubt these theories that one is perfectly justified in not delving into them.
"and why would you want to interject that others be careful to listen to another on that subject if you are not even interested to hear the facts?"
Let me put it this way, Freak. When someone says that the leaders of my own country have done something so evil as what Brenda insists that we can be absolutely certain they have, I don't think I'm entirely out of line in cautioning against wholesale, uncritical acceptance of this.
NEW YORK (CBS) - The two daughters of Jaycee Lee Dugard and Phillip Garrido cried when their father was arrested last week, according to Dugard's stepfather, Carl Probyn.
"They were attached to him. They cried when this happened," Probyn said. "It’s like being on Mars" for Jaycee and his daughters.
Probyn says he has been in constant contact with Dugard's mother, Terry Probyn, and has been getting updates on the girls, who, he says, were shielded from their mother's hellish 18-year ordeal.
Up until a few days ago, Jaycee’s daughters "thought Jaycee was their sister. They didn’t realize she had been kidnapped," Probyn told the Early Show’s Maggie Rodriguez on Monday.
The two girls, ages 11 and 15, have never been to school or seen a doctor, but associates of the Garridos have said the girls were always well presented and clean.
Despite the team of specialists who are counseling Jaycee and her two daughters, Probyn says it will be a while before they are acclimated into society.
"It’s going to take a long time," he said.
"Second, it is a fact, "proven" that items have been surgically taken from individuals that have claimed to have been abducted. These items that contain no earthly substance and are non-destructive. I think that is solid enough to give any interested party interest to seek more facts about what is known to be out there."
Freak, at the risk of opening yet another can of worms, do you really think your claims are indisputable "fact"? I worked swing shift during my previous job, and I would often listen to George Noury's (sp?) "Coast to Coast AM" show, and he would sometimes have on this doctor who claimed to have removed these objects from people. But I kept wondering how, if this was really true, it wasn't acknowledged on a widespread scale and we all knew beyond virtually any doubt that ET's have come here and implanted these objects or that somebody somewhere on this planet is in command of technologies that the rest of us can only dream about.
Armed & Dangerously Dumb
October 9, 2009 11:30 AM
"Beer_beatenAfter being arrested for attempted armed robbery, Christopher R. Voorhis, pictured, admitted that he was intoxicated, had a knife and was bent on stealing beer from a BP station, according to the report of his court appearance in Ocala, FL.
But Voorhis, 26, doesn't understand why the store owner beat him with a pipe, saying, "I was just trying to steal a beer, not money."
Which is kind of funny logic. You do need to pay for beer with money, so yes, a brewski is like money, especially for a business owner. I probably didn't need to explain that to you, dear reader.
Oh, and the point may be moot, because the owner who wielded the pipe says that Voorhis did demand money. So, there's that.
Voorhis says he was beaten about six times on his body, chased out of the store and the owner clobbered his car a few times, so hard that an airbag popped out.
Seems Vooris thinks robbers should only be pursued indoors saying, "I understand the man was upset, but he could've stopped when I left the store" and "I thought he went overboard." So of course, I'm dying to know how many times he thinks someone like himself should be hit. Three light whacks? One swift one?
Here's my favorite quote from the article: "I never meant for anything to happen. It's just bad luck on my part...I'm hoping the charges will be reduced."
Yes of course, because when you enter a store with a knife to steal, you don't mean for anything to happen. And certainly, this whole incident can be chalked up to bad luck, not your breathlessly bad decision making. WHAT THE -- HOLY CROW, THIS DUDE MAKES ME WANT TO BEAT MY OWN HEAD IN WITH A PIPE TO STOP THE MADNESS."
Nag,
Why does it have to be recognized on a "widespread scale" to be true this is what I see your hang up is on ever topic..
Brenda, the things we're talking about are hugely significant. That is, if our government did what you say it did on 9/11, or if ET's are implanting unearthly objects in the bodies of human beings here on Earth, this is a VERY big deal--one of the biggest stories of all time. And if the evidence for these stories were as incontestably "factual" as some here claim, doesn't it stand to reason that it would be irrepressibly plastered all over the media and that virtually all of us would acknowledge their truth?
YouAreSuchAFreak,
you didnt do anything to make me go away :) you get that idea out of your head.. in fact quite the opposite.. I had to leave for a bit and then i just got home unfortunately i will have to leave again for a bit but I will be back tonight :) but I have a little bit of time.. I owe your last question to me a detailed and thought out response so i have flagged it for follow up. :)
Nagarjuna,
actually it is true and if you looked at anything or n=knew anything about this youd know that too for the hundredth time! but you dont validate one thing i say.. I dont care that you could care less anymore okay, you obviously do not care about whats happening in the world and I cant make you!!
nag
"And if the evidence for these stories were as incontestably "factual" as some here claim, doesn't it stand to reason that it would be irrepressibly plastered all over the media and that virtually all of us would acknowledge their truth?"
So are you saying that you would believe without question what you read in the main stream media ?
Quote:
"The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum - even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there's free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate."~Noam Chomsky
Nag seriously I am done with this conversation with you.. Like I said you dont care and I cant make you.
Tara, BrendaStar...
Curious to know if either of you had dug deeper into the origin and history of those protocols?
I only ask bc don't those that believe in the NWO, including gov't conspiracy of 9/11, also believe that the protocols are true and factual evidence of the illuminati?
Nag,
I think Coonhound gave you an excellent source of information to research but you wont, but then maybe it might answer how you can be controlled by the media and government has been known to use propaganda all over the world to sway what they want..if you adjusted your blinders you might see that.
but we wouldnt want your pink bubble to burst now would we? then what wold you do?
yes i have. secret societys have known to exist throughout time.
Coonhound
Personally I have only just started to look at some of the videos and info about 9/11, so I'm certainly no expert by far.
I haven't looked at any info about the "protocols" mentioned earlier
the FCC has a lot of regulations yes
you also have to look at who ownes the stations and what co.they are associated with and what their "parent" co's are. ect.
I have found them to be very disturbing...their history, origination and use as propaganda to promote horrific crimes, including that of genocide.
BrendaStar
"you also have to look at who ownes the stations and what co.they are associated with and what their "parent" co's are. ect."
I couldn't agree more.
A good starting place, maybe for nag, would be a bit of research on Rupert Murdoch
There are and have been many many versions in ALL tongues since 1900 printed out usually as a phamplet to promote HATE in the form form of PROPAGANDA.
This article sums up Rupert Murdoch pretty well.

Coonhound,
I completely agre with you, have you came accross "skull and bones" society yet? you should have but yeah they meet every year in CA at a place called Bohemian Grove and they perform mock sacrificial's and offer them to an owl named Mallic whom they worship and its satanic... Bill clinton attends this as well as the bush family and many more.. There is a hidden owl on our money on the back printed by the Federal Reserve who are also a part of the Skull and bones society.. this is real. and it has been documented..
all of it is very disturbing... i agree.
I'm sorry, but does that NOT catch anyone's interest?
(No disrespect intended...I am "researching")
Coonhound,
exactly this is nothing new.. its an old game really..thats why a try to suggest the history, all of it! In order to know ,you have to know how it started where it came from and where we are now. but thats what happened I started one place and ended up at a million different other places no one told me look up this and that.. it lead there..
No offense brendastar/tara,
BUT...
I'm not relying on videos and websites that either do or don't promote government conspiracy.
And I would trust that you would have very much respect in that.
I am approaching this objectively and non-partial.
I hope you see value in that.
But brendastar,
Thus far...
David Eck does not strike me to be reliable.
Nor does any protocols that reveal the mission and steps of the illumanati.
?????
I mean no disrespect to you as a person what so ever.
Basically what I have learned thus far is that the history in the validity of truth in the protocols has been Debunked...many times.
And the history of the protocols speaks for itself.
Bad timing BrendaStar. I didn't know you had come back, I left to go feed Boogies little baby chick, but ended up bringing it home. It gets a little cold out at nights and it is pretty little, so will keep it in this banker box inside where it is warm. Maybe we will have him speaking like my greys by the time Boogie gets back. LOL.
I won't be around much longer. Going out tonight. We were given 10 tickets to see the Blue Man Group so a group of us are going. Problem is the show starts at 10:00 p.m. so we have to find something to keep us going until then. Anyway, I'll look for your response tomorrow. Have a nice evening.
"actually it is true and if you looked at anything or n=knew anything about this youd know that too for the hundredth time! but you dont validate one thing i say.. I dont care that you could care less anymore okay, you obviously do not care about whats happening in the world and I cant make you!!"
I was prepared to let this drop, but when you make statements like this, I just have to ask you a another question: Are you saying that every engineer, scientist, and other qualified person who has studied these theories and "knows anything" agrees with you that they are indubitably true and that no intelligent and knowledgeable person who has studied them disagrees with you on this?
As for me not caring about what's "going on" in the world, I care about many things going on in this world, Brenda, but not about outrageous conspiracy theories entertained by people such as you unless and until I have much better reason to believe in them than I have now.
"maybe it might answer how you can be controlled by the media and government has been known to use propaganda all over the world to sway what they want."
Brenda, I don't doubt that governments, including ours, manipulate and "control" us with all kinds of "propaganda" and other techniques. I've never denied or doubted this. But what I DO doubt is that the government could repress the "obvious" truth of its evil involvement in 9/11 as thoroughly as it would have to in order for this obvious "truth" not to be the biggest story of this and just about any other time.
nag
If you don't bother to research them how do you know whether you believe them or not ?
What reason would prompt you to research anything about 9/11 ?
nag

"Gagging orders"
"What reason would prompt you to research anything about 9/11 ?"
Good question, Tara. One thing that would inspire me to research it would be a virtual unanimity of opinion by qualified people (e.g., structural engineers, physicists, etc.) that the planes alone could not have caused the kind of damage that occurred during 9/11. To me, this is a pivotal point. Brenda keeps insisting that anyone who really studies this issue will unequivocally KNOW that something else had to take place to cause this damage; therefore, it had to be explosives planted by government operatives and timed to explode simultaneously or nearly simultaneously with the plane impacts. But if a good many qualified people disagree about the extend of damage that the planes alone could have caused, this puts a real damper on Brenda's pet theory.
""Gagging orders"
Baloney, Tara! It couldn't "gag" a story of this magnitude.
nag
"But if a good many qualified people disagree about the extend of damage that the planes alone could have caused, this puts a real damper on Brenda's pet theory."
Experts will always have differing opinions depending on their own unique experience.
You will never, in reality, get them all agreeing.
nag
"Baloney, Tara! It couldn't "gag" a story of this magnitude."
They are called "D Notices" in the UK ?
Not sure what they are called in the USA.
"Experts will always have differing opinions depending on their own unique experience.
You will never, in reality, get them all agreeing."
But if what Brenda says is so "obviously true," don't you think that many more experts would agree about the planes than do?
nag
"But if what Brenda says is so "obviously true," don't you think that many more experts would agree about the planes than do?"
How do you know exactly how many experts agree or don't agree if you haven't researched the subject ?
"Not sure what they are called in the USA."
They aren't called anything here because they don't exist, and, even if they did exist and were issued, the government wouldn't be able to get away with silencing all the scientists, engineers, journalists, and other investigators getting the "facts" and conveying them to the rest of us.
