that is very true about the military and also the same day as 9/11/2001 the fighter jets that were supposed to protect the skies were also on a training mission that morning for a mock drill of planes being hijacked and flown into buildings that is why they did not respond to the planes supposedly when they hit the trade centers.. they were at their "mock Drill" and that is a fact.

Brendstar said a day or two ago that she does landscaping on the side for extra money since she was laid off.
the other blog is really my brother's blog. He's a cop, I just helped him put it together. It is suppose to only be for law officers... which ever branch wants to join. It is just an escape... almost... most of the time like a coffee shop. But once in a while they will get involved in the internet games (usually only if there is money involved lol), but those get rather exciting sometimes. The blog gets going fast while they report in their game finds, etc. It's okay sometimes, but a lot of times, it is still pretty slow.
I think because Shafer is on here quite a bit also.
I didn't think I would ever lose Bush's speech on here yesterday, but I think I have. Don't worry YouAreSuchAFreak, I will find it.

Coonhound, I am no good with plants. I tried to have beautiful impatiens this year, but it was pitiful. I need animals, because they are noisy and demand to be fed and watered. If only plants could scream! (Mine probably do scream, I just can't hear them.)

Now that tick season is past we taking the dogs walking a lot on the property and usually hit the creek bed too. We have a blast. Well, we walk and the dogs run...lol. The creek is fun though. Most of it is a shallow creek but many places are knee deep and a couple places are above OUR heads. The dogs love it.

Honeybees? Very cool! My father-in-law used to have 5 hives or so. He is past on.
I did have the privilage to see one of his hives get "robbed" My husband suited up and had the honor of robbing the hive.
I was a nervous wreck, but I was still fairly new to the whole country living.

yes that site has been set up by activist and has very informative information. I keep pulling these particular links from that page becuase I love "Zeitgeist" that is what the actual movie is called and I have never seen it broken down into the three parts it is set up like a three part documentary i sent you the links to part 2 and 3 of the Zeitgeist Movie. it came out in 2007 there is also a zeitgeist addendum which came out in 2008 and that is the second movie part 4,5,6.It is associated with a group called the Venus Project, and 911 truth and Architects for 911 truth and other groups.

Who needs to hack Ralph Lauren. She gave the world her e-mail and boasted about how she didn't care. I have politely and knowledgeably have warned of the dangers of this. She scoffs it off as it if is a joke. I believe any person, teenager or not should do a little research to learn the truth about internet behavior before being so dangerously ignorant. As she scoffed, I gave her the benefit of knowledge. You don't need to "hack" to get anyone's information from the internet. You just need a little knowledge of this, as well as the fact as how to keep information from others.
Personally, I could care less how she takes it. I would be no less than any other criminal if I just watched and said nothing. At least now, even if she continues acting like a crude love struck teenager, she at least knows I was telling her the truth and maybe she will think twice before she does it again. If not, that truly is her own problem, or maybe it could trickle down to becoming her entire families problem. Yeah. It's a concern I don't mind sharing with even the nastiest of people.
Coonhound, I mix the litter into my big compost outside, then fertilize my plants (such as they are) in the spring. The only plants I have in the backyard (where the chickens run loose) are the ones they don't like to eat. Thanks heavens they don't like the taste of pussy willow leaves, or they would have no shade in their run.
My first husband and I had two beehives for a year, back in '78 and '79. We kept them with the hives of a beekeeper who had his hives down in Fredonia, Arizona (we were in northern Utah), so we weren't too involved. We both went once and helped him with his operation (even bought all the garb so we could properly suit up), then my husband went back one more time to help with the harvest (I was expecting our first child and was too far along to go). We got 100 pounds of honey for our contribution, but didn't stick with it--ended up selling him our hives.
I want to do it again, and this time do it right. I have been researching a style called "top bar" beekeeping. Ever hear of it? We did keep our smoker, veils, hats, coveralls, etc., but now my ex doesn't know what happened to all that stuff. Guess I'll have to buy it all again.
No, goblinbee, never heard of it. My husband has mentioned that he'd like to have some hives again.
For some time the hives in this county were being over run by a more agressive kind of bee. That's my biggest concern.

Back from the store. My wife had an interesting experience. We were in a thrift store. I was browsing books and she was looking at clothes. She sat her purse to the side and momentarily forgot about it. Then she saw two women walking out of the store with it and followed them to an area where they had opened the purse, taken out her wallet, and were preparing to open the wallet. My wife grabbed the wallet and purse from them, and they walked away.
Another fine day in Sacramento. :-)

Goblinbee, my wife loves thrift stores too and has a great eye for great deals, and I sometimes find some fine books for a very cheap price in the one we frequent. Unfortunately that store is moving to a new location miles away at the end of the month. It seems that they couldn't keep paying the rent of the location they ocupy now, and the landlord wouldn't give them a break. We're going to miss that place.

Goblinbe, there's a lot of "gore in motion" in the Level 1 trauma centers they cover on that show. But I really like the show. Not for the gore, per se, but for watching people deal with life and death in such incredible ways. And so many of the traumas they deal with, such as gunshots, stab wounds, and DUI injuries, seem SO avoidable! Why don't people wise up?
Nagarjuna, I am so oblivious when it comes to TV. I've never even had cable. Would I need cable to watch that show? My kids were raised without a TV in the house -- I only got one later (after the kids were grown) because I wanted to watch videos (and now, CDs). It seems that now that they've made us switch to digital, more channels are available, but I've never checked them out.
Yes, Goblinbee, you'd need to have cable TV to watch that show unless some of its episodes are available on the Discovery Health website or you can get the episodes off BitTorrent.

As for Goblinbee's question, do you REALLY think it had the nefarious intent you imply? I think it was an innocent question asked by someone who didn't take the time and trouble to figure out how she might have worded her question in a manner that would set off the fewest alarm bells. We're not all wallowing in paranoia here. Maybe some of us should be more cautious than we are and need to learn more about protecting ourselves than we know now. I like this a lot.. i as well have to say that warning someone of this type of stuff is a good thing i think.. the truth is is that we all want to believe people are good and do not have ad intentions and the truth of the matter is there are a lot for people that have bad intentions its just hard to picture it because you are good..so warning someone of this is not a bad thing or being paranoid i think but it should be thought of as a gesture of your well being.. I understand some of you dont care and thats your prerogative but it does happen a lot women and people in general have been stalked on the internet lured into kidnaps assaults rapes and many other crimes.. so it is something to always be aware of.
Freak, what will I never get? I have lived a very rough life, and I have seen more than my share of a variety of vicious crimes take place. What will I never get? I know how the world works, Freak. Excuse me, but giving my email addy to a blog does not worry me in the slightest. Pissing someone off in my neighborhood would be the bigger worry for me, and I do not care if I do that either, to tell you the truth. I live in a neighborhood FULL of dangerous and crazy freaks that have zero feeling and compassion for anyone. And I have to worry about someone travelling all the way out of their way to come find ME? IN MY HOUSE? Bring it on. Seriously, the only persons that appear to be presenting any kind of questionable acts here are you guys. The rest of us are trying to discuss serious matters in an intelligent manner. Along with enjoying each others stories of how our days are going.
We are friends in here!! Goblinbee, Coonhound, Tara, Nagarjuna, and I hope Brendastar, have become my new friends. And I value them and feel blessed to have met them.
When my son goes to Club Penguin, I am always by his side, so he doesnt encounter anything strange that can compromise his safety. Those are the places you guys need to be concentrating on. Brenda, I just have to say that all women are in danger of being harmed in every place that they might find themselves. We are never going to be 100% safe. Not in Church, not in our own homes, not from our neighbors, not at the grocery store. We are not even safe from our own families sometimes.
I can assure you that most people come across bad and dangerous people every day, without even knowing it. Anywhere you go, you can be followed, and the person can know where you live. And you with a young daughter, have to be aware at all times. The same persons in here that would want to find your address to come cause you harm, can go 2 streets over or even 3 houses down from their homes and wreak the havoc that is building up inside them if they so wish. Nagarjuna said it before. That it wouldnt make much sense for a kidnapper to stalk us here in this blog, just to travel all across the country to come steal your child, when of course there are hundreds of kids more conveniently located near them.

I think I see life in this blog the same as I see my real life. When I have 2 friends that do not get along, I cannot take sides. If they are arguing in front of me, I cannot say anything. Well, Brenda, I think for one thing, that Nagarjuna was very sincere in his request for a new start. And to my knowledge, he is the only person thus far that has actually stepped forward to offer a truce.
And I have been thinking long and hard about how you could have presented your ideas to me about nine eleven, and made me interested. I think one thing that scared me away, was that each time I asked you questions in the beginning, you offered me links with long research for me to do myself. I think the first thing maybe that you could have done, or do in the future, would be to grab a persons interest. By telling in your own words a few of the things you have learned.
Also, I did view videos of the planes crashing, people jumping, the towers crashing down, the soot. I did this about a year or so ago. I watched videos for a week. I watched all the videos of people saying all the things they seen that contradicted what the government was saying. I watched the videos and read the stories about certain witnesses that later committed suicide or died suspiciously, suspectedly due to the tragedy of nine eleven. Then I watched the videos that showed certain proofs that there were lies. But then I watched more videos that showed proof that the proof was wrong.
Honestly, Brenda. I am a single mother of 3 athletic boys in all different sports, and they fight all of the time. I struggle in life trying to keep it all together. As far as taking a few hours a night to watch short videos, I can do that. But to invest so much time in actually researching and thinking long and hard, and evaluating, I just do not have the time. I so wish I did have the time.
And one more thing that I wonder, Brenda. Are you going to be open to facts that prove parts of your theories wrong? I am just curious. Because I know that if I was to research this with you, I would come to you with so many contradictions to what you have said, along with so many agreements. I wonder how you would accept it.

See Brenda? I did not mean to offend you. And you called me unfair. I do not think that anything I said to you suggested that you are not well educated or not very well informed on the subject. And I was interested in the topic. Two years ago, I was interested. You said I could tell you what I thought. So I did. And it was only in order to offer my ideas on your presentations. And that you should try to always remain calm and in control when speaking about your topic. It shows complete confidence and makes you an unbreakable brick wall if you can accept opposition and your critics with a clear, calm and open mind.
And Nagarjuna offended you this morning. But he has since offered his apologies to you, and specifically for hurting your feelings. And he has since offered the truce. By offering that truce to everyone here, he is inviting everyone to put all the bad and hurtful arguments in the trash, and start anew. By accepting his truce, that would mean that we would all stop talking junk to him, but at the same time, he also would have to refrain from any future attacks on those that accept the truce. That is how a truce works. I personally do not see Nag's truce working here, as so many persons misconstrue sentences and take them out of context, and get so easily offended over misunderstandings. Also, I see alot of people getting so outraged over many of Nagarjuna's opinions when they do not agree with them. I mean outraged to the point that they express actual hatred over a persons own opinions that do not agree with their own ideas. And then of course there is the fact that sometimes if you already cant stand a person, no good deed will be honorable because it would already be set in a persons mind that the good samaritan is a sleazy POS and nothing the POS could ever possibly do should be praised.

My sister found a big bag of granny squares at my mom's house that our mom had crocheted many years ago. There were 271 squares, and she was intending to keep going until she had enough for an afghan for each grandchild. Well, there are probably only enough for two afghans (she has 18 grandchildren), but my sister thought it would be nice to at least finish the two, one for the oldest grandchild (who is 30 now and actually remembers my mom making these for her), and one for my mom. A few of us are pitching in to crochet black around each square, then my sister will stitch them all together. Both of my girls crochet, so they have both been helping. I had never crocheted in my life until I went to the beach! My daughter and sister taught me, and the three of us would sometimes sit at the picnic table under our big shade tent and do it together. It was fun. My mom tried to join in, and my daughter was so patient with her, but crocheting is just too confusing for my mom now. She went maybe 2/3 of the way around one (took her a couple of hours, with my daughter coaching every move), then was so frustrated that I offered to finish it for her.
So tonight my daughter and I worked on the 40 squares I brought home, and our friend worked on a hand-sewing project. HB does not do crafts; he had other plans tonight.

Denise, amiga, you have found my Achilles tendon. I have a serious phone phobia. Really. I almost panic if a phone call is used for anything besides conveying basic information (ex: "Movie starts at 8:00; meet you there at a quarter to"). I prefer the text and voicemail functions on my phone. My friends know this about me. If I call, they let the phone ring and go into voicemail so I can leave a message.
But, please know I trust you. We can exchange addresses by email, and then in December I can send you a happy solstice card!

I told you you can tell me your feelings because you can... I am not upset so please do not think that.I did respond to you with my feelings and how I felt. Good morning, Goblinbee. We had a wonderful dinner! Nothing too fancy, but very, very good so far as we were concerned. But no cake or Haagen-Daz. :-) We were too full for either. But we have a two pound box of See's Candy to nibble away on when the sweet tooth flares up. :-)
I hope your day is starting off well. We're getting hit by our first storm of the season, but our storms tend to be pretty mild compared to those that strike other parts of the country.

I do believe he hasnt been actually called that for quite some time but just keeps bringing it up as if its present.. in stating that i do not think it is right for the millionth time. but it hasnt happened for awhile now and the reason for being upset is no apology really.

I thought the story was great. I was happy to read something "real" and touching. And am so proud for you and yours that you can come together like that as a family. Not many families are able to do so or just don't care to bc they don't appreciate the deeper value.
