In an interview with the Tahoe Daily Tribune, Tracy Heer, boyfriend of victim Krystal Steadman's sister Sonja Klempner, said, "There's a lot of confusion, but, remember, we did want this man to die. The next six weeks were going to be exhausting," said Heer. "And having to look at (Soria Sr.'s) face and having to hear the testimony and the DNA evidence, it was going to be tough." Heer said he and Sonja received a phone call Sunday morning asking them to go to Krystal's grandparents' home. When they arrived, deputy Douglas County district attorneys Kris Brown and Tom Perkins and investigator Mike Beam met them. "They said Soria was found in his jail cell this morning, dead," Heer said. "There were tears of joy, it was quite overwhelming. This has been a tough and exhausting 10 months, we're glad it's over," Heer said.
The Vietnam veteran and member of the Vietnam Veteran's Motorcycle Club, known as Packer, who had arranged two memorials for Krystal, said he couldn't have been happier about Soria Sr.'s death. "Personally, I couldn't find it better and I think (Soria Sr.) saved the taxpayers of this state a whole bunch of money and time," he said. "All I can do is hope that junior keeps following in his father's footsteps."
The following day, Douglas County Judge David Gamble excused the jury with the news that defendant Thomas Robert Soria Sr. had died. Two weeks later the autopsy results for Thomas Soria Sr. were finally released. According to the toxicology reports, Soria Sr. died from an overdose of medication prescribed for depression. According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, the antidepressant Amitriptyline had been given to Soria Sr. by a clinical psychologist and administered to him by guards. Apparently Soria been hoarding his medication until he had saved enough to make his last dose fatal.

For instance, "Popular Mechanics" did a scientific analysis of prominent 9/11 conspiracy theories. Have you read it with an open mind?

In the David Icke interview Cameron says that he hasn't attended Bilderberg and we shouldn't worry.
However George Osborne, current Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, has attended every meeting for the past 4 years.
Is he already receiving his instructions from the Bilderberg elite in expectation of winning the next General Election.

I honestly get the impression that you now feel so convinced of your conclusions that heaven and earth and even God himself couldn't change your mind. For a long time I have thought how we do not have true democracy, whoever you vote for, things are being controlled from higher up.
But I just haven’t had the time to research it.
I have always found it almost impossible to try to understand in simple terms how the worlds banking systems work and interact.
This video which I managed to watch in full last night, certainly has confirmed some of my thoughts and explains in an easy to understand way how things work and how our lives are being manipulated.

I have heard 9/11 discussed before... outside of this place, and like you... I am skiddish of them, too.
I've read a little over the past week, but do not feel I have done my homework enough to formulate an opinion over this medium.

Nag please understand that my comment to you was only to help you better understand WHY what you said irritated them.
Maybe we can look at Nag's comment of I hope you are researching thoroughly, as if your child came to you and said they have a school project or essay to write about someone like, say Bush.
I think I would tell my child to be certain to do all research, both sides, from people that liked him, not just from the ones that didnt like Bush. Especially if I knew my son had always been against Bush. I think when you research something, you need to look at both sides, which I am certain BrendaStar IS DOING.
I sometimes decide that I do not like someone, then listen to all of the negative statements about that person, and more or less block out anything positive that anyone would have to say about that person. I do that with my cousin that I cant stand all of the time. lol
So, I think that if I was going to research product. I would definitely want to know the pros, and the cons. It wouldnt be so smart for me to promote a product as being great, without finding the truths about the negatives also.

I have been going about your suggested readings at my own pace.
I do have to admit that the whole thing is a bit overwhelming to me. And it scares me, too.
Sometimes I feel so beat down by how this world works. We (me and my husband) work so hard to do the right thing, live a honest life...
And it just seems like there's always someone or something that wants to TAKE, TAKE, TAKE. I do NOT feel like every day people have a voice in our country. I really don't. I do feel like we are at the mercy of Government and. Large Corporations.

I could cry right now seriously because it means that much to me....I really LOVE people and all walks of people. and I care about them, I REALLY care... and I care where my child is going to end up what our poor elderly people are going to go through and where we sit as a society as whole...I want us to flourish be truly free and able to provide for our family without worrying everyday if we are going to lose our house, jobs, if we cant afford food, gas to work, Bills, taxes ect.. and why are we here and where are we going? I can not sit here and allow everything to happen around me and just give my freedoms away...I will not allow that to happen for me or for you.. And the health reform is another thing. Right now, if I paid for health coverage for me and my sons, it would cost me 700 dollars each month. An emergency room visit only costs me 500 dollars cash. And we only visit the ER about once a year, so far. And doctors visits are 78 dollars, and I do not take my kids to the doctor if Nyquil can cure them. We have no health coverage now. So I am waiting to see what difference the health reform can make. We have no coverage now, so maybe we will continue to have no health coverage. No terrible difference for me.

oooooohh health care oh geez.. watch out.. i worked in health care for the last 5 years... it saddned me what will happen to the elderly people if they pull money from MEDICARE! and that is the truth teh reassdon these town hall meetings are out of control is because the elderly know what is being proposed..a health care fact:
do you know that health care insurance company's in the world bases their reimbursement of medical bills off of MEDICARE GUIDELINES its a fact. so if they lower the reimbursement everyone including the government insurance will lower reimbursement as well... The doctors up their rates for more reimbursement and the cycle continues.. thats just one aspect and doesnt even touch on this health care issue..
I want everyone to know that I fully support Health insurance for everyone.. but the way it is proposed and their methods on going about it I feel is wrong... and its for a greater agenda..

Denise, I think that is unfair. I don't think I'm smarter than anyone here. In fact, I suspect that you're all smarter than me in most ways. I really mean that, even though many of you seem to mistakenly think that I think I'm some kind of genius and that you're all idiots by comparison.
But I have been around long enough to see very smart people believe some very questionable things, whether it's ET visitations, crystal power, or 9/11 conspiracies waged by our own government. And I think it's true that bright people can get sucked into looking at the so-called "facts" in a very skewed way. That is, they can pay far more attention to the people who support their preconceptions than they do to those who don't.
They're not deliberately doing this, and they're not necessarily dumb. It's just human nature that I think we all need to fight against, especially when we find ourselves becoming too "intense" in our beliefs and too defensive when those beliefs are questioned.
I don't think Brenda and Tara are dumb by any means. They seem to have investigated some of these topics, or, at least very partisan presentations on them, quite thoroughly and to have a command of arguments and alleged facts that only an intelligent person could probably acquire. But, the more intelligent you are, the more vulnerable to using your superior intelligence to rationalize your one-sided view of an issue. You can use your superior intelligence to articulate what seems to be a very persuasive case for your side, ignoring the fact that very intelligent and knowledgeable people may be able to knock huge holes in your arguments and "facts."
All I was doing with my original comment and have been doing since is to respectfully caution both Tara and Brenda and everyone here who's interested in what they're talking about to do as research that is as thorough and IMPARTIAL as possible. If Tara and Brenda have done that, great. All they needed to say to me was, "Your advice is sound and I hope everyone will honor it as well as I believe that I have already."

Tara, there is one piece of evidence pointing to abduction. One minute there was a child asleep in a bed and the next minute the child was gone. I would have thought that was quite strong evidence that the child had been abducted.
Coonhound makes a good point about the wisdom of leaving the child alone, but that hardly implicates the parents. These kind of abductions are rare and I, for one, am not going to be pointing my finger at the parents. Obviously, if they hadn't left the child alone it wouldn't have happened. Yes, I believe them. I did contemplate their guilt for a few moments and then I dismissed it out of hand. They are completely innocent and we are wasting time discussing it.

I assume you are referring to the Jane Tanner sighting ?
What about the documented Smith family sighting ?
The sighting where the person carrying a child was identified as being Gerry McCann with a 80% certainty by the witness.

I love the way Mike assumed that Tara was from the USA and started attacking her like she was automatic idiot that was to be dismissed so easily, until he realized Tara is one of his own. Now he likes her name.

Based on the PJ files and the forensics, I think that Madeleine in all probability died in Apartment 5A, which is the official PJ position.
At this present time there is in-sufficient evidence for any charges to be brought.

There are many contradictions between all the statements made by the McCanns and the friends that were with them, now known as the Tapas 7.
They supposedly made regular trips to the apartment to check all was well and they entered through the patio doors which had been left unlocked for this reason.
Definitely going to try to ignore this one. lol

When Kate returned to the apartment and found Madeleine was missing, the window was open.
The McCanns insisted that was how she was abducted. No forensics were found on or around the window, except Kate's fingerprints. A police reconstruction showed that it would have been impossible for an abductor to enter and leave this way, with a child.
Cadaver and blood dogs (Eddie & Keela the best in the world) alerted in several places within the apartment,on items of Kate's possessions and in a car that the McCanns had not hired until some weeks later, to a person having died in the apartment.
Forensics of blood found were inconclusive to prove Madeleine's 100% but could not rule out the possibility. I think it was with 80% accuracy.
Police investigations have shown that previously no other person had died in that apartment.

They could just about partially see the back of the apartment from where they were in the Tapas Bar, but it was evening and dark.
It was a couple of minutes walk back to the apartment.
They had supposedly gone to the bar just before 9.00pm
Gerry McCann went back to the apartment and checked just after 9.00pm and went into the apartment.
A friend then checked around 9.30pm but did not go into the apartment just listened from outside.
Kate McCann went back at 10.00pm and found Madeleine was missing.
I say supposedly because there are many inconsistencies between their statements.
As soon as they were made "arquidos" which means "persons of interest" they fled Portugal the next day.
The Portuguese police requested that all of the McCanns and Tapas 7friends, return to Portugal for a re-construction.
They all refused.

I don't think it has been established how the McCanns initially left the apartment.
In their statements to the Police, Gerry McCann originally said that he entered the apartment at just after 9.00pm through the front door, but then he change this in a subsequent statement.

Well, it is storming here, and I am now getting sick along with my boys. The school sent my oldest son home today with a fever. So, I am certain that I have lost my job, as I refuse to leave my ailing sons alone or with other persons when they need their Mommy. I do not care, it will give me more time to sell everything and pack for Peru. But I am seriously thinking that my fiance doesnt want me to make that move. I do not know. Since our laws were changed regarding the EU we have had a lot of people coming in from Europe, especially Eastern Europe.
They seem to have free movement, in and out of the UK
Tara, I receive emails all of the time from one of my friends that lives there. They are sometimes hilarious, and sometimes angry emails about the UK. Like they speak about the illegal immigrants, or all of the immigrants in general. And also, they speak about how your soldiers were not allowed to return home in uniform, because the muslims might get offended. I get many emails from England.

I must say I wasn't aware of that.
Just recently we seem to sadly regularly see the re-patriation of our soliders who have recently been killed in Afghanistan.
One of my son-in-laws closest friends was recently killed there.
At the time that it happened he was our highest serving soldiers to be killed there.
Sadly his commanding officer was also killed a couple of weeks later.
My daughter and son-in-law attended the full military funeral in London.
Very sad. He had a wife and a son the same age as my grandson (now 20 mths)
Tara, I wish I could send you these emails that I have received about the outrage that my friend expressed with this email. And also, you could tell me if the emails were true or not. But I assure you, I received the email about your troops not being allowed to exit the planes in uniform for that reason. And my friend was disgusted by it.
I am sorry to hear about your fallen soldier, and his commanding officer. I wish there was a way of saving the world. Nothing seems fair. Did you know that some of our soldiers fighting in Iraq have wives here that are on food stamps and welfare and can barely make it? Crazy, huh. And I cannot stand that our boys fight and die to protect our drug dealers and criminals and filthy rich folk like Donald Trump, etc. here.
